10 Yard Dumpster

Dimensions: 12' long x 8' wide x 3.5' high. Holds about 3 pickup truck loads. Best for small projects: garage cleanouts, single bathroom renovation, small deck removal. Average cost: $250-$400.

20 Yard Dumpster

Dimensions: 22' long x 8' wide x 4.5' high. Holds about 6 pickup truck loads. The most popular size. Good for medium renovations, roof tear-offs up to 25 squares, flooring removal, medium cleanouts. Average cost: $300-$550.

30 Yard Dumpster

Dimensions: 22' long x 8' wide x 6' high. Holds about 9 pickup truck loads. Best for large renovation projects, new construction debris, whole-house cleanouts, commercial work. Average cost: $400-$650.

40 Yard Dumpster

Dimensions: 22' long x 8' wide x 8' high. Holds about 12 pickup truck loads. The largest standard size. Used for commercial construction, large-scale demolition, industrial cleanouts, major remodels. Average cost: $500-$800.
